Gigapixel Image Taken from the Diving Board

Here’s another really cool find. A Gigapixel image of the North Face of Half Dome and Yosemite taken from the Diving Board, the place where Ansel Adams famous “Monolith” was shot.

Yes, you can still get to the Diving Board and it’s a fairly easy hike from Yosemite Valley, much easier than climbing to the top of Half Dome. The trail is a bit obscure and it’s a well guarded secret by Valley residents so you’ll have to do a little digging if you want to check it out yourself. My lips are sealed.
