Get in FREE in Celebration of MLK Jr. Day

In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, National Park Service will once again be waiving the entrance fees to the park. Free admission starts Saturday, January 15 and ends on Monday, January 17, 2010.

This is a great opportunity to come up and visit Yosemite when there aren’t a lot of crowds, see how beautiful the Valley is in winter, and spend a little time frolicking in the snow. Most of the back country trails are closed but Badger Pass is open with ski and snowshoe lessons plus there are plenty of places to ride a toboggan or even go ice skating at Curry Village right under Half Dome.

Remember, snow and ice may be present on Valley Roads and you need to carry chains in case you’re asked to chain up. For updated weather and road information please call, 209-372-0200.
