I can’t say every year because I haven’t been following it’s appearance long enough to say every year but, for the last few years there’s been this interesting phenomena taking place over at Yosemite Creek that’s really caused a stir with the locals, Frazil Ice. I know, I know. The first time I heard it I said “Frazil what?” too. Take a look at this great video from Yosemite Nature Notes and you’ll know why everyone gets so excited when this stuff starts showing up.
