If you’re a local or even happen to be in the park but want to tear yourself away from the beauty of Yosemite, the El Portal School will host a preview of The National Parks: America’s Best Idea by Ken Burns on Thursday, September 24, at 11 a.m. in the multi-purpose room. The public is welcome to attend and bring your lunch. The entire film will air Sunday, September 27 on PBS, and will include six episodes.
