I had a trip all planned for a friend of mine and myself. He is unable to make it. It is the week of 7/15 for 6 nights. I have camp ground reservations for 3 nights in Tuolumne Meadows and 3 nights in Hodgdon Meadows. I am wondering if you have any suggestions on finding someone to share the experience with. I have all the camping equipment, the camp sites and will be traveling in from Reno and willing to share a ride.
I have worked in and visited Yosemite almost every year in the past 50 years. (I am 59, male). I am interested in doing some hiking and lots of photography. I am familiar with the flora and fauna of Yosemite. I am a great cook – and modest about it too!
Any suggestions on going about getting a new traveling/camping partner for the trip? All my other friends are already committed for the week.
