Bring History to Life with the Yosemite Theatre

One of the great experiences of Yosemite you’ll not want to miss is the Yosemite Theater. This season Lee Stetson portrays John Muir in three shows a week; “Conversations with a Tramp” play on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the theater behind the Visitor’s Center, and on Sunday nights attend a Campfire chat at the Happy Isles fire ring.

Additionally, you can attend Connie Stetson’s presentation of “Sarah Hawkins contemplates a fourth marriage”, a fictional account of a pioneer woman’s life. Performances are on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 PM at the Theater behind the Visitor’s Center.

On Friday and Sunday night, meet Ron Kauk, world-class climber. Ron will introduce “Return to Balance; A Climber’s Journey”.

Tickets are $8 for adults, and $4 for children 12 and under. Children under 4 are free. Employees and park volunteers are free. All shows end in good time to catch the free shuttle back to your car or lodging.
