I wouldn’t make any long term plans that involve Tioga Pass or Glacier point, it looks like we might finally be at the end of this unseasonably dry, warm weather and headed into winter.
The National Weather Service is forecasting rain and snow starting Thursday this week and continuing late into next week. It’s about time and man, we REALLY need it.

What are the chances of seeing Frazil Ice this year at the end of March? will the lack of snow this late impact that spectacular show?
Unless we get rain and snow there won’t be any water in the creek to make into frazil ice.
