The Big Oak Flat Road is closed from Crane Flat to Yosemite Valley due to a fire. This is an indefinite closure. The only access to Yosemite Valley is now Highway 140 from Mariposa. The Big Oak Flat Road is only open up to Crane Flat. If you wish to access Tioga Pass from Yosemite Valley you’ll have to drive out 140 to Mariposa and then up 49 to Coulterville or Priests Grade and back in on Highway 120 (Big Oak Flat Road).
