Next to the waterfalls and the granite peaks the Ansel Adams Gallery is one of the “must-sees” in Yosemite. Located in Yosemite Village next to the visitors center the Ansel Adams Gallery is not only home to works by Ansel himself, but also of other area photographers who carry on his spirit and tradition. There are beautiful photos by Michael Frye, Bill Atkinson, William Neill, Henry Gilpin as well as paintings and art by our good friend Penny Otwell.
Don’t worry if you think everything will be too expensive, there are plenty of fine prints, posters, gifts and other beautiful collectibles. There’s even a great section with books for adults and kids that we like check out when to stop.
