If you smell burning grass or see smoke in the air don’t be alarmed. Fire crews are burning grass and vegetation in the El Portal area to help eliminate fuel that could cause a major fire.
The burn is part of an ongoing project to remove fuels around the park and is scheduled to begin today, June 11th and continuing as weather permits safe burning.
