Here’s an interesting video of Yosemite in the 1940s. It starts off in winter and ends in summer. I don’t think the guy leading the bear cub around like it was a trained animal realized it could still maul the crap out of him if it really wanted to. There’s also a scene in which a man with a plains indian head dress is paraded about. Pretty sure that’s not what the native americans in the valley wore. Gotta love cheesy theatrics that pandered to tourists. Can you think of anything we do today that’ll be “cheesy” in 70 years?

People typing on computers will seem cheesy.
Hey, you said this was an interesting video. Your movie-reviewing credentials are in serious jeopardy.
Oh no, no. My credentials as a movie reviewer aren’t in jeopardy…my definition of the word “interesting” is. I never said anyone but me would find it interesting.
I found it “interesting”. Yes, it’s cheesy. But my mom first went to Yosemite during the mid 1940’s and it was amusing to see what it was like back then. Even the cars and the dress was entertaining. Glad you posted it.
Haha, really an interesting video, and the music is good too.
