What a stunning photo–I have shown it to several people as a way of visualizing Fred’s journey in ’03. Barney Lake and Mule Pass are hidden behind ridges but so much else is visible–even tiny Crown Lake, at the base of Crown Point. Kudos to the photographer/mountaineer. Martha
