Grab your camera and get in the car! The dogwoods are blooming!

If you’re a photographer and you’ve been waiting for the dogwoods to bloom in Yosemite to make your annual trip, well, SURPRISE! According to photographer Michael Fry the dogwoods are indeed in bloom and at much earlier this year than previous years. You can see evidence of this on Flickr.

The dogwoods only bloom for a few weeks so if you’re planning to catch them, better hurry.
