More rain expected this weekend

In Weather

It may officially be spring but no one seems to have told the weather that. More rain is expected in the Sierra this weekend as another storm makes it’s way through the area. This storm is expected to be significantly warmer than the previous storm and offer very little chance for snow. Last weeks storm dumped several feet of snow at the higher elevations around Yosemite Valley and gave the Valley a nice blanket of white powder.

The official forecast calls for a 60% chance of rain on Saturday with a 14% chance of snow and a 70% chance of rain on Sunday with a 20% chance of snow.
