What are you doing the third week in February?

In News

Now is the time to make plans to be in Yosemite in the 3rd week of February. Why? Horsetail Falls will be performing its annual Natural Firefall!

Galen Rowell made Horsetail Falls famous with his shot “Last Light on Horsetail Falls”. The setting sun turns the waterfall gold and red, much like the now-defunct Firefalls from Glacier Point.

I’m writing up a series of posts on the Natural Firefalls. So far: “Coming Attractions: Natural Firefalls“, and “Natural Firefalls: What to do when the conditions aren’t right“.
