Photo of the Day: Snow!

I love the first real snowstorm of the season in Yosemite. It covers enough of the Sierra granite to add just enough contrast really bringing out the color of the granite. Today’s Photo of the Day I happened to catch on the Yosemite Conservancy webcam on Sentinel Dome while I was eating lunch. Too bad I had to work.

    I get excited about the first major snow of the year, too. The webcams page got a lot of refreshes from me during the workday yesterday!

    Me too!! even at night and expecting sunrise ( i have 5 hr difference, so it was easy..) Do you know if the closure of Tioga Road is final? I’ll be there in 4 days!!
